 Pork and Beans are "not food" in my world.  I don't even have a can of them in my house.  They were in my childhood home, and I believe I was scarred emotionally for life by the sight of the faux pork product floating around listlessly among the beans.  I can safely say that *if* I did eat Pork and Beans, I would not eat the "pork".  <shudder>   laurie

 l love the other white meat...first of all its like catfish...eats the bottoms off the lake and the white meat is pretty dam good....crab also ...eats the bottom of the ocean and the dang white meat is pruttty dam goood.....so i equate the piggys to our land loving bottom eater...and I make a mean cream sauce over them that is to die for....and here is a another plus...the fat in pork is the same color as the meat....but its not all thru it like steak...unless of course were talking bacon and then well we all know that bacon needs fat to make the little popping sounds in the skillet...and that wonderful smelllllll......mmmm gary

 Josh knows this but the rest of you all don't and that is I have a strange desire for Emeril to be my father and if you ever watch his show, he always yells out "It's a pork fat thing!", so I eat the pork, it's yummy and Daddy would get mad if I didn't.  Jeremy

 So what kind of drugs are you doing exactly, josh?  I figured you'd be even more "furiously curious" about this one... ANyway... is there really even pork in there?

 As a child, when I got a portion of beans with pork in them I felt like the lucky one.  Today, 
I want nothing to do with the pork and I rarely even like the beans they are to sweet.  I think 
that the change happened around 16 years old. Jenn

 Pork and beans huh?  well i spoke with you already about this topic, Josh, so basically I have sworn off both of the pork and beans cause i will not support the
 company who only uses pork fat, not real pork.  legally they can use pork fat instead of pork meat and put Pork as the first word in their product title.  that is 
some crap.  so no, I don't eat the "Pork (fat)"  Krista
