Encouraging Ethnic/Cultural StereotypingI'm offended just looking at it!  So very not encouraging! – laurie

Talk about your not encouraging ethnic cultural sterotyping!!!!  eeeeeeeeek......why not just put a drunk indian on a horse with a diagonal line thru it!  Bette       (Josh....where DO you get these pictures?)

Cultural Stereotyping  fue

yes i believe this is encouraging ethnic/cultural stereotyping.  Where did you find this?  Please tell me not in a school. kris

i have no idea what the message is..having been hit by a drunk driver and having my daughter (corrie) also hit..i think the MADD people have the vote from me..but then since im not sure what this flag is all about what can is say...except dont drink and drive...thanks very much...gary

Counter productive...what, did DARE make that banner?   And the cultural issue depends on who made it, I reckon.  If the Indian Guides or Boy Scouts made it then it probably is promoting a serious negative stereotype. If it was made by a tribal council then...  It is context dependant. Dave Out!

i hope this isn't implying that most...or some natives do not consume alcohol....cause i know otherwise.....ahhhhhh life is funny. running is the devil.-tyler

Yes of course it is encouraging ethnic stereotyping...but ethnic stereotyping happens whether it is right or wrong...  But I think the real question here is - Can there be success without alcohol?  ...Corrie

I wasn't expecting much controversy here...I just thought it was great that I found this, yessiree...I found this in a school!  HA HA HA!!!  GO EDUCATION!  Josh
