Definitely NOT LOVEABLE!.........evilness lurking...Bette

The "gargoyle" you offer in illustration?  not lovable.  This gargoyle http://home.sprintmail.com/~fva/pink_elephant/pictures/gargoyle.jpg, lovable in a strange way. laurie

As for this poll, I am not too familiar with gargoyles but judging by the attached picture I am going to say that i definitly wouldn't be hugging that thing.  anything that can completely cover you with its wings in an embrace kinda freaks me out.  does it have pokey things on it?  so I may not hug it but I could love it.  I love a lot of things that I wouldn't touch.  God says to love all creatures right?  so yeah, i feel the love, just no hugs.  peace.  Krista

Tough call.  I like gargoyles when they are cute, like when they're sticking their tongues out or when they have fat bare butts.  They are quite lovable at times.  However, how can one love a scary creature with pointy wings and sharp teeth?  I tend to look away when faced with gargoyles such as these.  Maybe I'm too much of a girl.  Maggie

Loveable to the core...but just "as friends" (or so I've been told)  Robert

Gargoyles are CUTE!  If you look at Doodlebug, he's a cute gargoyle.  And Joshy, you're a cute gargoyle, too.  I can't forget Robert - he's not a bad looking gargoyle either.  Gargoyles ROCK!  :o)  Great poll Josh! ~ Thea

Gargoyles are only lovable when the concrete ones fall off of church overhangs bringing an end to some bastard's pathetic life and I am still waiting for that luck someday.  Other then that, Gargoyle's only sit there to mock me like everything else in society.  YOU'RE ALL GARGOYLES YOU JERKS.  Just kidding, much love to the friendly gargoyle.  Jeremy

I guess they could be loveable.. never actually thought about it... they are generally kinda not loveable... but anything can be loved so I guess it's possible for me to love it.. some are kinda scary looking though.  Generally they belong in theme parks, castles and in homes where comic book freaks live.  Corrie

Rooftop dwellers;  buttress perchers; silent observers gallantly spewing forth from their own mouths burdens we cannot ourselves bear unprotected.  Attentively inspecting with eyes piercing attentively peeking past cleft facades apathetically reading us like books we ourselves have only read abridged.  Ceaselessly shielding with stone strength unyielding battling specters, evil and unseen; weathering torrents, spiritual and unrelenting.  Overlooked intrepid unseen fearless forgotten noble disregarded creatures concerned incessantly with us—the oblivious subjects.  Lovable.  Josh
